Today is the day. In 6 hours we want you to do one thing …
Tune into Global TV (Canada) 8pm (EST) for the premiere of Animism: People Who Love Objects.
For the past two months you have liked, shared, and commented; and we are so proud of this little community we’ve built. As usual, we want to say thanks to our crew and the incredible people in the film. Erika, Linda, Carl, Amanda, BC: YOU’RE AWESOME!
To start off this week, we hosted a private screening of the film at popular Toronto bar 3030. Director Bill Spahic breaks it all down for you: Continue reading
Amanda Liberty, one of the incredible people we were lucky enough to have in Animism: People Who Love Objects saw a sneak preview and had this to say:
My expectations were not only met, they were exceeded!
What an awesome film!
It was really lovely to see my friends in the film talk about their lives and their loves. In many cases, including my own – Our OS takes us on a journey in our lives, and our love helps to drive us to achieve our hopes and desires, and make our dreams come true. I am glad that this was well represented in the film together with showing the world that we are not so alien to the rest of the world – Yes we do have different loves, but the way we FEEL about the ones we love is just as powerful as anybody else who is in love.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who worked on putting this film together, and my special thanks to Bill Spahic, for being open minded and sincere about wanting to produce a film directly from our hearts to the viewer.
I hope this film inspires people to open the minds and hearts, and may it help us on our way to being better understood and accepted in society, as the people we are, as we deserve to be.
Thanks for your kind words Amanda!
Animism: People Who Love Objects will air on Global TV (Canada) at 8 pm (EST). Tune in. We hope everyone enjoys the film as much as Amanda has.

HAPPY MONDAY! We’re pretty happy here, we hope you are too 🙂
This week started off wonderfully. Thanks to your engagement with the blog and on Facebook we saw a 50% increase in “likes” over the weekend. Happy isn’t an adequate adjective for the way we felt on seeing that. Once again, we are so grateful to Erika, Linda, BC, Carl, and Amanda for engaging with viewers and fans. It’s not often that an audience gets to interact directly with the people in the film.
Linda posted this beautiful quote to our Facebook page yesterday:
“Nature is busy creating absolutely unique individuals, whereas culture has invented a single mold to which all must conform. It is grotesque.” U.G. Krishnamurti
And Amanda responded with this beautiful self-affirmation:
“I am ME, I am not anybody else, nor do I think I should have to be a certain way to have my place in society.”
Do you now understand why we had a ball filming this documentary? It’s a superb example of what happens when phenomenal people come together to explore and share their truths.
Thank you Linda and Amanda!
THE CLOCK IS TICKING
Only 17 more days left until the Canadian premiere of the film. Tune in to Global TV (Canada) on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 8pm (EST). Continue reading

Many of our stars are actively on the Facebook page (thank you!) helping us promote this film. We had so much fun filming this movie (just check out Bill’s statement) and are so grateful we met so many wonderful people across the globe.
We’ve received some inquiries regarding air times in the US. As soon as the dates are confirmed we will share that with you. We want as many people to see this film, and hopefully be inspired by the remarkable people who’ve so bravely chosen to share their stories.
This week Rev. BC Hall-Ford reflects on his experience filming with us, and cites it as “one of the greatest moments in my life thus far”. Continue reading
Thank you for all the views! Our Facebook ‘Likes’ are rising steadily and we’re working on getting more content to you. If you haven’t given us a ‘like’ yet, it’s not too late.
